Over the last two weeks, Lower School pupils have competed in an internal cross country competition.
The U12 girls and boys raced over 3.2km. Keira Johnson (GH) won the girls’ race in a time of 13 minutes 15 seconds.
The U12 boys’ race was a joy to watch. Chris Cohalan (Je) and Will Hamilton (Wa) pushed each other throughout, with Chris winning in a time of 12 minutes 20 seconds after a sprint finish.
The U13s competed over a longer distance and both races were won comfortably by two outstanding athletes.
Isla Naidoo (Hu) won the girls’ race (3.6km) in a time of 15 minutes 42 seconds and Henry Lord (Wa) won the boys’ race (4.1km) in a time of 16 minutes 18 seconds.
