With three halved matches this B team fixture could have gone either way. In the end this was valuable experience for the three golfers who had not played for the College before. There is no doubt that these golfers will improve the next time. A sincere thanks to Wellington for hosting this fixture on their nine hole course.
Liam Colohan (P) Lost 2 Down
With a great performance of three over gross with four birdies it was an unfortunate loss as Liam was simply giving too many shots.
Zac O’Connor (P) Lost 2 down
Zac played well, playing to handicap, but his opponent played to three or four better than his handicap, scoring three birdies in the last five holes of the match.
Joss Wells (Fa) Half
A great comeback from two down to grasp the half, good determination throughout the match allowed Joss to put on pressure and force mistakes from his opponents to claim the half.
Charlie Delamain (G) Half
A very close game coming down to the last putt on the 18th a good result for Charlie for his first game for the college.
Aaron Endeley (C) Lost 6 Down
An unfortunate result for Aaron against a very strong opponent in his first appearance for one of the college golf teams.
