The College Chapel Choir were invited to sing Choral Evensong in the magnificent setting of St Albans Cathedral.
The 50-strong Chapel Choir sang a varied programme of liturgical music which included Howells’ Evening Service Collegium Regale alongside Stanford’s setting of the opening of Psalm 119, Beati Quorum Via Est.
Director of Music, Mr Paul Johnson-Hyde, said, “The pupils presented a mature and sensitive performance of challenging repertoire”.
It is a busy time for the Chapel Choir as they prepare for their tour to Barcelona during the half term.
