Over 150 pupils from the Senior School took part in the Ensembles Concert on Thursday evening. The events included performances from the Chamber Choir, Jazz Ensemble, Barbershop Chorus, Girls Acapella Group, Big Band and Percussion Ensemble.
The Symphony Orchestra opened the concert with a skilled and mature performance of the Minuet and Trio from Mozart’s Symphony No.40 and an orchestral arrangement of Liszt’s Liebesträume No.3. They were followed by the fifty-strong Concert Band performing an Irish Folk tune, The Willow Tree, and an energetic arrangement of Live and Let Die.
