The cadets were very excited to get hands-on and experience the thrill of taking control of an aircraft, accompanied by a trained RAF Pilot.
The cadets were briefed and trained, and then spent up to 40 minutes in the air, in four planes. Our cadets experienced and enjoyed aerial acrobatics including pitch control, yawing and barrel rolls. All cadets were safe and sound and nobody felt uncomfortable during these thrilling flight manoeuvres.
The pilots involved at RAF Benson were impressed with cadets’ interest, enthusiasm and discipline throughout the exercise.
