Grace Crompton (R) has been selected to take part in the England U18 Women’s Rugby 7s Development Squad. This follows an outstanding season in Epsom College’s Girls’ 1st VII team, in which the team secured a number of notable victories including the Reigate 7s Tournament, Christ’s Hospital 7s, and finishing as quarter-finalists at Rosslyn Park.
At the Reigate Tournament the Epsom team secured victory without conceding a single point. Grace scored six tries and was crowned player of the tournament.
Rounding off a glorious season, the England selection will see Grace attend a three-day camp in Stratford upon Avon in late June. Here, the development squad will work toward possible selection for the games against Wales and Poland over the summer.
