Epsom started slowly, lacking sharpness and intensity in their game. Despite this they took an early lead which they maintained.
Going into the second quarter, passages of play were better and, coupled with good defensive pressure in the mid court, the girls were able to extend their lead.
By the third quarter the girls were playing their game, working the ball through the court well and they pulled ahead still further.
The girls improved as the game went on, but sadly Surbiton had to leave earlier than expected so the game only lasted 25 minutes and at a point when the Epsom girls were fully in their stride.
