Twenty-one Upper Sixth students have been invited to interviews at the universities of Cambridge and Oxford – almost twice the number from last year. The offers fall within the sciences and humanities and reflect the breadth and strength of our curriculum.
The journey to these interviews has been supported by rigorous tutoring and mentoring that included mock interviews, academic extension, and wider reading. This meticulous preparation began in the Lower Sixth year, with applications being submitted in September, setting a busy tone for the start of the Upper Sixth year, demanding exceptional organisation and focus. Each student has shown high levels of engagement and application and we wish them every success.
Now, as interviews near completion, we enter a period of anticipation. By the end of January, the results will be revealed, and we eagerly await the news of whether these exemplary students have been offered coveted places to study at Oxford or Cambridge. Sincerest wishes to all the candidates and their success in this significant endeavour.
