On the last Monday of the summer term, Lower Sixth students were able to practise their recently acquired networking skills with 40 current parents and OEs in the marquee on Wilson pitch. The Work the Room part of the evening followed a Q&A session on the theme of ‘Pathways to Success’, when a panel of five parents and OEs, who are experts in their field, answered questions relating to the world of work and shared tips on what they believe is important in establishing a successful career.
Nick Russell, Assistant Head: Sixth Form, thanked the guests for their support and remarked afterwards that he had received very positive feedback from the students. “For many, the evening marked a key stage in their development: they suddenly realise the immediacy of their future career – and it is a realisation that is both empowering and exciting for them.”
