On Tuesday evening Year 11 pupils attended the ‘World of Work‘ evening, giving them a chance to explore possible future career paths as they consider their A-level choices.
A group of 25 OEs, parents and other volunteers from a range of professions explained the pros, cons, and skills required in their respective fields; as well as their own personal journeys.
New speakers this year expounded on developments in AI and sustainable finance, as students develop their understanding that the world of work will look rather different in 2030 compared to a decade ago.
The careers represented included medicine, engineering, media, law, entrepreneurship and finance.
