Triumphant Jazz Night Banishes Any Blues

An assortment of the College's jazz musicians entertained a packed Big School of family and staff with a variety of classic and contemporary jazz standards for the annual Jazz Night.

There were solo performances ranging from Middle Fourth to Upper Sixth, and the evening was rounded off by the College’s Big Band.

The Director of Music, Mr Paul Johnson-Hyde drew attention to the notably high standard this year. He also thanked the trio of staff accompanying the soloists for sharing their expertise with the pupils: Mr Walker (Keys), Mr Osborn (Drums) and Mrs Wilson (Bass).
