The Epsom Golf Team of Kris Kim (Year 10, Fayrer), Oscar Lent (Year 11, Propert) and Holly Justice (Year 9, Rosebery) put in incredible performances at the HMC Singles Tournament at The Berkshire Golf Club. Taking on the Red Course, a Championship golf course of the very highest standard, Kris Kim won the singles competition with an outstanding score of 8 under par. A truly exceptional and astonishing performance, further proving that he is one of the best young golfers in the UK at just 15.
Oscar finished runner-up with a round of 4 under par, an impressive score which would usually easily be strong enough to win such a tournament, and the team were overall champions.
Holly was at no point intimidated by the course, her opponents, or the occasion. She took the whole day in her stride and can be justly proud of her scoring, which was a very strong start towards achieving a win at the Girls Championships. Fantastic results all round, well done to all three players.
