The Class of 2022 raised an incredible £10,000 at their Leavers’ Ball in June and this week former Head of School, Eva Saunders, presented a cheque to Caroline Edwards, the Founder of the Surrey-based Oasis Charity.
The donation, which was raised through a raffle, auction and a significant contribution from the Edith Murphy Foundation, will go towards the charity’s vital work in providing support services to vulnerable children and families across the county.
Oasis Charity provides a wide range of services including emotional wellbeing courses, such as a freedom programme for survivors of domestic abuse, a variety of children’s services and emergency services including a school holiday food bank.
Caroline Edwards, Founder and Director of Services at Oasis Charity, said:
“On behalf of all the children supported by Oasis Charity I am so grateful to the students at Epsom for their support and this incredible donation will make a real difference to us.”
Former Head of School, Eva Saunders, said:
“We are delighted to have been able to raise a significant amount of money for a very special charity who do a lot for our community.”
